AppleLesbians.net in an online matchmaking service providing its members an easy
way to find their desired partner using search and matchmaking technology. In
order to do that we collect personal information. There are two types of
information we collect, public and private. Public information is general
information (such as gender, height, hair color…) which is visible on the
website to the public (all members). We also collect private information (such
as ZIP code, E-mail address and date of birth) which is not visible to the
public, is kept confidential and is used only for internal purposes. When we
collect any information, it is clearly marked whether the collected piece of
information is public (visible to other users) or private (confidential). None
of the information can be used by the public (visitors or members of our site)
to identify specific individuals.
Use of Information obtained by AppleLesbians.net
Public information supplied by our members is visible on our site to the public
and is used by the members of our site for matching and searching purposes.
Public information can not be used to identify specific person by his real

Private information supplied by our members is kept in secret and is used only

our message board. Responder's email address IS NOT included in the response
notification email and can not be obtained in any way from our site. We are
keeping our members and communication between them anonymous (Member is
recognized only by his nickname), so that our members can decide by themselves
whether and when it is safe to share their personal information (such as cell
phone number) with each other.
Date of Birth is kept private and is used for these two purposes:
a) Precisely calculating age of our members. Age is public information and is
visible to other members.
b) Calculating Zodiac Sign of the member which is visible to other members.
ZIP Code is kept private and is used for calculating distance between members.
Distance is public information and is visible to other members. ZIP code is
also used internally for demographic analysis.
Public Forums and Chat Rooms
Please keep in mind that whenever you voluntarily disclose personal information
online - for example on message boards or in chat areas - that information can
be collected and used by others. In short, by posting personal information
online that is publicly accessible, you may receive unsolicited messages from
